BOE budget / school configuration
Balancing the budget may involve closing a school and redistricting. Get informed. Share your thoughts. For more information, please see this informational flyer.
Come learn what the options are (close a school? change the model?) and ask questions NOW, not when it is done. Superintendent Low and BOE representatives have made multiple presentations to allow the public to hear the factors being considered and provide feedback. There are two more upcoming public presentations:

BOE Budget Status/Process
Superintendent Low presented her proposed budget to the Board of Education. The BOE voted to reduce the Superintendent's original budget to a 2.72% increase. The BOS provided a non-binding recommendation (3/7) to reduce the BOE budget increase by $100,000. The BOF, which decides a school and town spending package to send to voters, also approved a $100,000 reduction in the budget (4/4).
