Thanksgiving  

Every year the students of the Alternative High School invite the members of the Ridgefield BOE, the Superintendent, town leaders, RHS administrators, guidance counselors and select faculty to their annual Thanksgiving feast.  It's a time to show our gratitude for the widespread support that the Ridgefield and educationl community has given our school.

Skiing in Vermont

Every February RAHS participates in a ski trip to Smugglers Notch, VT.  Everyone skis, snowboards, learns to ski, tubes, swims, sings kareoke, ice skates,and cross-country skis. We work together and have fun together in a beautiful winter wonderland.

Team Building

In the fall, we often embark upon an all day team building outing to Great Hollow in New Fairfield, CT
