Science Department Vision Statement

Ridgefield High School’s science department strives to stimulate each student’s creativity and innovation through the use of an appropriately rigorous curriculum centered on problem solving and critical thinking.  A self-directed, reflective, and collaborative environment will be fostered to aid students in developing life and career goals with an emphasis on the technological skills necessary to compete in the future.  Additionally, a focus on K-12 curriculum alignment, professional development, and community partnerships will allow educators to develop and impart the expertise required for success in today’s world.
