A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Lisa Singer
Welcome to Veterans Park Elementary School! Veterans Park, our goal is to provide the best possible educational opportunities for our students, develop life-long learners and prepare children to be successful citizens in a changing world. We help children learn to think creatively, communicate effectively, and solve problems within and among disciplines. Here at Veterans Park we are committed to providing a nurturing and caring environment where each child can learn and succeed, and we view each child as a unique person with individual learning styles, interests, and levels of development. The classrooms in our school are safe, creative, and engaging places where students feel empowered to take risks and make choices. Our school community can only achieve excellence with cooperation, dedication and the combined efforts of parents, students, educators, support staff and the community at large. Parental involvement is encouraged and appreciated, and the Veterans Park Parent Teacher Association is an integral component of our school. I hope this website provides a glimpse of the work we do everyday with our young learners. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the school office at 438-6571.
