Together, the nine schools that comprise our district provide a safe, empowering learning environment for just under 5,000 pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade students in Ridgefield, Connecticut.

In accordance with Governor Lamont’s statement issued May 5, 2020, Ridgefield Public School buildings will remain closed for the 2019–2020 school year. The calendar for the remaining months can be found here: RPS 2019–2020 School Calendar. The last day for students is June 17.


RPS e-Learning Hub is now open. This site contains helpful resources to aid in distance learning.
